As much as my husband and I love this store, we are getting pretty fed up about the people constantly harassing us about gutters. I use the word harassing because in one 10 minute trip, I was stopped three times. Anymore, every time we go in we are stopped by these people. Remove them from your stores and we will come back and I will give this place five stars instead of one. Until then, we will just make the drive to Menards or Home Depot.

I drove about 50 minutes to pick up some corrugated roofing and some galvanized screws to repair my barn roof. I had placed an online order so that it would be ready to go when I arrived. The pickup experience was great. When I arrived home, I discovered that I was given the wrong quantity of screws in an incorrectly labeled box. When I called the Lowe’s customer service line, I was surprised to find out that the call center was outsourced overseas. When I called the local store number, Amy was not a good listener. She acted like I had inconvenienced her by calling with a concern. She offered to refund me $6.40 for my issue, but I didn’t feel that was a fair offer. I was perfectly polite during our call, but when she had enough of the trouble I was causing she abruptly transferred me to Steve. Of course, Steve had no idea what the situation was, who I was, or why Amy had transferred me to him. Steve was perfectly reasonable to deal with. Ultimately, Steve was not able to help me get a refund without additional steps and I didn’t want to deal with the run-around any longer. I’ve decided to give up on Lowe’s. With the issues I’ve encountered in the past, they are no longer providing the value I need to continue doing business with them.
