  I gave Lowe's a try this morning for some plumbing parts. I downloaded the app and found my item locations (Isle & Bin) ahead of time. That process and self checkout worked well. I was however, frustrated & disappointed that I could find no assistance / help in the plumbing dept. I ended up going down the street to my normal big box store (Me___ds) and found very helpful dept staff - BEST of all, THEY FOUND ME and asked "are you finding everything ok?" Now that's service, NOT what I found at Lowe's.

  I score this 5 stars only because of Frank Rotundo in Mill Work and Doors! Frank did an incredible job assisting us in our purchase. At this point Frank, and also Leo in Installation made a horrible experience good. Otherwise, due to Lowes AI Phone answering, availability to speak with a manager, third party scheduling, this was the worst experience I've ever had with any Lowes Store! Management needs to be more accessible and there needs to be changes in the whole installation scheduling process! Lowes Corporate Offices broke a system that was all ready working. Again, the Management at the Illinois Rd Ft Wayne needs to be more accessible and helpful! Sales Associate Frank Rotundo was the only positive in this whole process! I might add on March 31 2026, a gentleman, Rob, also assisted us and was very helpful. However, today April 2, 2026 Ilinois Rd told us there was no Rob that works there. They might want to find out who is actually employed on Illinois Rd so they can actually help customers. I am a Pro Account and Regular Account Holder.

  Management showed little care for a customer that's been with them for decades and spends tens of thousands of dollars with them every year and yet their policies cannot be changed even if products are right and pro card in hand and receipts in hand. It makes no difference. There are many other companies to choose from. We will begin to. Common sense would have said the customer is right and deserves value. Sad that Lowe's is not able to value us. Their policy is more important.
