The sale price was still posted on the display, and the front-end employees even confirmed it. I paid for my other items, went home to get my truck, and came back specifically to pick up the toolbox. When I returned, suddenly the price “was no longer valid.” Even though the signage was still up and customers were actively seeing the sale price, the store refused to honor it. I asked for a manager, and instead of coming to the front to speak with a customer, he hid in the back and communicated through the employees. He flat-out refused to honor the clearly marked price, despite the fact that Indiana law prohibits bait-and-switch advertising. The employees at the front were polite and helpful, but the manager showed no interest in resolving the issue or even giving the courtesy of a face-to-face conversation. I contacted Lowe’s corporate customer care and got nowhere—they are overseas, difficult to understand, and only “documented the case” instead of offering any real assistance. This store left up misleading sale signage, refused to honor it, offered zero accountability, and provided some of the poorest management interaction I’ve seen. I have photos from this afternoon showing the posted sale price, yet the manager still denied it. Extremely disappointing experience and a great example of why customers lose trust in this location *****contacted Lowes as they requested and ZERO response****

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
