I am writing this to warn other homeowners about my experience with a door installation project that began on November 21, 2025. What was promised as a 9-week turnaround for four doors (over $6,500) turned into a total breach of contract and a customer service failure.
The Major Issues:
Significant Delays: The materials did not arrive until February 5, 2026—weeks past the estimated date.
Inaccurate Delivery: Only a third of the shipment arrived, and over half of those items were incorrect.
Total Communication Breakdown: The installer was unaware the shipment was wrong. It took eight days to reach the original salesman, who claimed he had been "too busy" to correct the order.
Unprofessional Corporate Response: On February 16, a corporate representative told me they wanted to "start fresh" with a new order at a higher price. When I declined, she stated she "did not care about my feelings" and was just trying to do her job, and "she could not completely guarantee my full refund."
Refund Struggles: It took an additional four days to receive my refund, they couldn't figure out how to do it correctly, and was issued in confusing pieces rather than a single transaction.
I never received an apology for the months of wasted time or the incorrect billing. My Lowe's nightmare concluded on February 20th, 2026. If you value your time and expect professional accountability, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your home improvement needs.
