That guy you have watching the self checkout has very poor customer service training. I went in for a tank exchange and tank he gave me was almost 28 years old. After 12 years they need to be recertified and this 28 year old tank didn't have anything showing it had been recertified. I asked the guy for a different tank and he told me I had to take it up with Blue Rino. Lowe's is selling that product on their behalf and therefore is liable and responsible for the product. I told the guy you can Google the regulations on the tanks if he didn't believe me. He said it's not Lowe's problem. That basically comes across as "Lowe's doesn't care if you blow up should that tank fail, we've already got your money.”
