- THTabatha Halliday6 days ago1.0DON’T BUY DOORS AT the BLOOMINGTON LOWES!!!! We paid for a new front door. They came out to do their measurement. They measured it wrong and tried to tell us we need to do a special order. The guy that came out to do the measurement was the supervisor! He needs a new job because he don’t know how to measure! in fact the door that we bought it’s already in the store. And they wanted to wait two weeks to get it to us and then not have it installed until May. We paid for the door and the Installation and everything two days ago. The store themselves cannot get a hold of the contractor. The contractor won’t call us back either. This was the worst experience we have ever had! We’ve had them do our kitchen countertops, our cabinets, and some of our floors and they done a good job. . However this is by far the worst experience we have ever had anywhere! We went to them because of all the things they have done in the past. Well this experience will be our last!!!

The kids helped me load my ordered items although they did bring one of the items out that were severely damaged and I made them return it. They didn’t want to do that, but I didn’t care. It’s kind of hard to believe that they brought out something that was so damaged and expected me to take it. Overall, I go to Lowes at least once a week and one form or another I have bought everything from riding lawn mowers to paint brushes. I have an Aries 52 zero turn , I’ve bought vanities, sinks, mirrors, paint, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, cleaning supplies, nuts, and bolts HVAC stuff even food…. Overall, an OK place at least it’s not like some of their locations like an Indianapolis for instance in Beech Grove the Lowes is a public nuisance based on crime and police activity

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
