Brought back a pack of framing nails my dad purchased for me for 100$ on his debit card and literally told them he is out of town and that I need the money back as a gift card or cash to get the right nails and they said sure, then “hit the wrong button” and sent it to his card and told me to get screwed basically. ZERO STARS. I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY FURIOUS WITH LOWES!
We bought a fridge for my Mom and my Mamo on Black Friday. They said it would be delivered on Saturday. It wasn’t. They gave me no instructions on what we needed to do to prep other than a 20 minute video that my Mother watched and we did it. When they get there today to deliver it, the two individuals there will not touch the old fridge because it had a water line connected. THIS WAS NOT COMMUNICATED TO US THAT THE PLASTIC WATER LINE WOULD BE AN ISSUE. The delivery drivers were just going to leave the fridge on the front porch or take it back with them.
We payed for delivery and for them to remove the old fridge -which also obviously didn’t get done.
If I ran a business this way, we would have gone under. Poor communication. Very disappointing that they treat customers this way. Don’t offer delivery if you cannot communicate all that needs to be done. I spoke with both the delivery company who told me that they tell Lowe’s their expectations and Lowe’s does not pass it on to their customers and I spoke with Lowe’s who stated there is a form next to the checkout that apparently displayed this information. My bad for not knowing I needed to read all the documentation surrounding the checkout counter or for thinking that this information would be relayed when we purchased the fridge.
