Always love going to lowes. They also have great clearance things. Getting mulch and that little lady was up watching.

Awesome people working. Always ready to help. I particularly love the fact that you are able to rent a truck at $19 for 90 minutes with no additional cost per miles.

Been standing in the store paging for help for 30 mins. Called the store and they said they’d send someone. No one came. People walk by and say this isn’t their department.

I bought a patio door through Lowe’s. It’s been a mess from the start. Scheduled an appointment for a sales rep to come out and measure the door and get it ordered. She told me that due to a black Friday deal going on if I signed up for the Lowe’s credit card I would have 0% APR for 2 years. So I do that, knowing that I could pay it off before interest begins. Unbeknownst to me, as I was signing the documentation for the credit card apparently I was also signing a contract for the installation through Lowe’s. I planned on having someone else install. They wanted to charge a cancellation fee for the contract I didn’t even know I signed, and she put my email address in wrong so I never received the contract either. They end up cancelling the contract and just selling me the door. The wrong door for my house that they measured twice for. And it didn’t come with the screen that I ordered with it. Whatever, no big deal, I still have it installed. 2 weeks later, the weather proofing seal broke and I couldn’t shut the door anymore. Now the issue is with the door company itself, but Lowe’s has caused nothing but issues since the beginning and I wouldn’t recommend going through them for your door/window needs.

I have been a Lowes customer at the Avon, IN store for over 20 years. I actually did there old house renovation program and spent over $32,000 on my kitchen and bathroom. I go all the time. Recently it has been very difficult. I tried to return a defective sump pump on a Sunday night on the eve of a major tornado and flood watch. I had to replace the pump or face basement flooding. After patiently working with Mike at the return desk - he could not make the refund work. I had my receipt. The pump was less than a year old - with a defective broken bottom housing. He asked on phone for help twice. Finally the lady walked back and loudly shouted, “I have to cover this other area, I’m training a person, and then told me it’s used - no return.” She was 10’ away and didn’t know anything about me or my pump. When I tried to talk with her - she tried to shame me by pointing out all the people behind me in line. She had no idea that I had previously waited in that line for 15 minutes on another person’s return. When I told her she didn’t seem to care about my problem- she walked off. I asked to speak with a manager. I voluntarily moved to another counter. The manager told me the policy on returning used plumbing- a biohazard issue I need to contact the manufacturer. I told her it was a Sunday evening- doubt they would be open. She said they would as I dialed the phone number and got the closed message as she walked off. I was left o deal with this on my own. Had a Lowe’s purchased pump, a Lowe’s card and account, spent thousands in the past - they could care less that a storm was coming. I was left with only one choice - swallow my pride and buy another pump to protect my home. Customer service and loyalty is gone.
