This is based on the delivery & installation of our new washer & dryer specifically. The first person who came didn’t even attempt anything after seeing our laundry room. The second guys tried, but couldn’t get it. It took a maintenance guy from our apartment complex to explain it to the third set of delivery guys because they didn’t want to try either. I understand the space is small, but if you’re going to send out someone to deliver new units when the customers specifically paid for that - they need to be more professional & actually attempt to do their jobs. Or hire more people that would be willing to try instead of just giving up the moment you walk in the door.

Had a quite unpleasant experience with Adawna in customer service. She was okay right up until she hear me speaking Spanish and then became the very definition of a "Karen" - was loudly rude to us for the rest of the visit as she finished processing our return. We had been planning to exchange an unopened home good item. However, when I asked to exchange for a different color, she "informed" me that I had to do a return and rebuy the different color, NO EXCHANGES. (According to Lowes' own policy as stated on their website, this is not, in fact, true for anyone except us. Returns and EXCHANGES are allowed within 90 days -- and we were within 24 hours, not that she asked.) She also nearly screamed at us that our dog needed to be on a leash. The 4lb dog we were CARRYING with no plans to put down. I have never had such a problem before in other Lowes and the only policy I can find online says "Lowe’s requires all animals to be on a leash, in a crate/cage, or in your arms at all times during your visit." And, hey, maybe this store is SUPER SUPER STRICT about leashes and requires them even on pets in carriers and maybe the manager has a big problem with people carrying their little pups 10 feet into the store, but there's a way to communicate that nicely and she did not. She seemed on the verge of refusing to finish the transaction once she noticed our dog and started freaking out that is wasn't on a leash while we carried it. I even asked her, "But we're carrying her?" To which she physically leaned over the desk to get in my space and "emphasize" that is needed to be on a leash because "we've had other dogs..." at which point she trailed off and left me waiting awkwardly for her to turn that fragment into a logical and complete thought. Pet-friendly this store is not and people-friendly Adawna is not. She clearly had a problem with us and succeeded in making us very uncomfortable. We left as soon as we could -- and won't be back. It's disappointing that Lowes maintains such an employee in a customer-facing position.
