I bought a lawn mower from this store in August. Guy at the checkout told me it had a 90-day return policy. Went today and they said it's only 30 days. So, thanks for lying to me. EDIT: Called the number, said they’d reach out to me, never did. EDIT2: Had to reach out again to get this resolved. To be fair, the assistant manager made things right with me, so I appreciate this business for that and I've altered my review score accordingly.

I came in today to return a set of lights from a renovation project for my business. I didn’t have the receipt with me, but I explained I’d be happy to take in-store credit. The associate immediately cut me off, was short, and very aggressive, saying “we don’t do that.” We then proceeded to try all of my business debit cards, and halfway through she asked for a phone number. which also wasn’t on file. After going through the rest of the cards, one finally pulled up the purchase but showed it was past 90 days. Instead of calmly explaining, she yelled it out across the counter almost as if she was excited to prove me wrong.
This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. I came in planning to spend over $4,000 today, but after this experience I left and took my business to Menards. On average, I spend over $8,000 a month at Lowe’s, but after being treated this way, I will no longer be shopping here

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
