I’m now going on week two with no dryer. I ordered a washer and dryer set from Lowe’s with delivery and installation to my home. The washer was delivered and installed on October 25th without issue. However, the dryer was delayed because it wasn’t in stock at the time.
Update. After reading other reviews, this place(Venon Hills Lowes) sucks at installations for some reason. I thought it was a one time issue but it seems to be more than that. I'll just go pick it up myself and pay some kids take it upstairs since im two weeks post op surgery which is why I picked delivery and installation the first place.

After some discussion, we agreed that the dryer would be delivered and installed on November 1st between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Unfortunately, that delivery never happened. I was later told it was now scheduled for November 15th.

After reading other reviews, it seems the Vernon Hills Lowe’s location has consistent problems with installations. I initially thought my situation was a one-time issue, but it appears to be a recurring problem.

I’ve been a loyal Lowe’s customer for over 20 years, purchasing all my tools and lumber from your stores. I’m hoping this is just a store-level issue, but this experience has been very disappointing and not the level of service I’ve come to expect from Lowe’s. Hopefully, the dryer will still arrive and be installed on Monday as promised.
