- JBJames BenteDec 9, 20253.0I purchase stained glass at Hobby Lobby and on every occasion the cashier does not know how to properly wrap it for transport. They have protective wrapping paper at the checkout, but the cashier wants to put several pieces of unwrapped sheet glass into a flimsy plastic bag without wrapping it. It seems like the cashiers get no training in how to package breakables like sheet glass. Also the quality of some glass has deteriorated. Especially the Hobby Lobby brand hammered cathedral glass which has numerous raised areas. More often than not, the raised areas appears extremely scuffed. I had to return two pieces that were unusable because of the marks.
