It's a huge home improvement warehouse store. Massive selection of nearly everything. Great selection. Good prices. Purchased a GE washer and dryer set here last year. It's one of my go-to places because of the huge selection of merchandise and competitive pricing.

First, the positive. Aiden in Appliances is AWESOME and that kid is going places. Hopefully they pay him well and find a way to keep him. Again, he's awesome and was very helpful.
Bought a Fridge for my 83 year old mother Saturday who just moved into a new home with no fridge and was hoping to take it home that day. No go since it was not in stock but could deliver it Tuesday (today) so we didn't have a choice. Mom says she's be fine for a few days with no fridge (she's 83 and me and my brother both live out of state) Thankfully it was delivered to her today but that's where things start falling apart. First, the delivery driver was RUDE from the start and "on the phone" the whole time they we unloading. Then they open up the box and the fridge is trashed inside. Shevles broke, etc. My mom asks if they can get another one over today... "no, next week is the soonest" and pretty much blew her off and continued being rude.
She calls me distraught (i personally purchased the fridge IN STORE Saturday) so I called them to see what they could do.
Lady transfers me to Chris the GM and after I explain the whole situation he says "sorry, nothing I can do about it..." Didn't offer to bring her another one, didn't offer to refund the delivery fee, offer a rebate, etc... just "sorry, nothing I can do about it" So here's my 83 year old Mother going another 7 days with no refrigerator because Chris and Lowe's can't bother to be inconvenienced. Customer service is officially dead.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
