Went in to buy two lights that I saw online for $23.98 each in store they were listed as $39.99 a light I was told by three employees they did not offer online price matching to the Lowe’s website. I ordered the lights as pickup and waited half an hour to get them at the online price. I looked at the policy online and it stated you guys have a best price guarantee, either employees aren’t appropriately trained or this is blatant false advertising. Sincerely a disappointed and dissatisfied customer.

On 2/9/26 feeling under the weather. My quote for washer and stove expired that day. I call 4 times before someone answer. Transferred to appliances. Person who I spoke with doesn't work that dept but after multiple hold and explain a number of times, they were allowing my quote to extend 1 day. They found my information and when I came in ask for supervisor Mike or Emma. 1/10/26 approximately 300 walk in to Lowe's in Peoria Il and go to appliances. No one around. Go back to the front to ask for someone and Justin called someone to assist. Spoke with female associate who was not understanding but called for Emma. Long story short can't find the quote so nothing they can do. Really, it was all here yesterday. I'd honor it , per Emma, but can't fond it. Question I ask, why did they find it yesterday? Emma, who gave notice 2 s..ts said don't know who you talk3d to do, sorry. Extremely unhappy I go back to the front and speak with Justin and ask for Mike. Advised I wasn't talking to Emma anymore. Radio to Mike, he's busy but will be up shortly. Justin not happy that after a time I ask if he was coming. Kept saying coming now. Needless to say never showed. Not buying there again and we purchase a lot.

I ordered cabinets from the store for a project, they told me that it would be available for delivery on the next day. After I pay they told me that it would be delivered in a week, this delayed my clients project. I went along with it to avoid a back-and-forth. Then delivery day comes around, and I let them know that it would need to be delivered in the afternoon because nobody would be at the property during the morning. Lo and behold, they scheduled it for the morning. My project has already been delayed for a week, now comes to figure that they outsource the delivery to another company - I would have just had my crew get this delivered and installed the next day if Lowe's had been upfront about this instead of misrepresenting their timelines to land more sales. I specifically told them that I was looking for the best deal and there was another competitor that was able to provide the same product for $500 less local to the area and would have had it ready next day (a week ago). Clearly, they care more about landing more sales than providing good service - now my company looks bad after having to delay the project twice for my customer.
(Edit: The third-party company that delivered the order was very courteous and friendly.)

I was supported enough to know that Ace isn't the only place with the helpful folks.
Also, I dunno if it was shared in the company, so I'll say it here, even though she may have been in the other Peoria location.
Savannah was awesome. Not only was she spot on and helpful, but she knows how to hold good conversation while keeping up with anything. They should give her a raise.
Also, Lowe's is awesome for home improvement in general. The lights we bought literally made the best upgrade.

Lowes will always be my go to spot for just about everything. I started out with Lowes as a new homeowner some 25 years ago and I have been going there since. 7th home purchased and all but two were remodeled with Lowe's products and tools. The only reason all 7 weren't done with Lowe's products is that two were brand new and they did get Lowe's appliances and Lowe's paint when updated, not Lowe's brand, just purchased through Lowes. Lowe's could carry a better high end power tool than DeWalt as DeWalt has really gone downhill over the last several years. I own every darn power tool that DeWalt has ever put out in 18v and 20v XR Brushless but if they don't step up again this will be it and we will be parting ways. Aside from that I am a Lowe's fan. Don't get me started about the guys behind the Pro desk because I think a whole lot about a few of them and yes Tracy I am talking about you. Here's a couple remodels and whole lot of money invested in the DeWalt Corp.but you get the idea.
