    Took back some plumbing supplies and they wanted to not give us the money back when there machine didn't give us the receipt. Manager finally did give us the money only after I asked for corporate number

    Very unhelpful. The air machine wasn't working so it let more air out of my tire. I went in to tell them and get help, all the men at the contractors entrance would not even help and I left with an almost flat tire praying I would make it home. Now mind you I am an middle aged lady by myself. Chivalry is dead.

    So we have a pro account and needed to pick up an order we go to the pro desk which we should have been able to deal with them there and they send us on a wild goose chase saying that they can't look up our order that we have to go all the way to the other end of the store to pick up our order. It makes no sense that we cannot go to the pro desk be waited on us has we are a pro and get items quickly leave they were paid for. The pro account ought to be treated differently right?

    Brought in items for a return 8 days after purchase. Had a receipt and they had not been unpackaged. Would suggest reading the return policy before buying anything at any Lowes. Some items can't be returned. Some can only be returned within 48 hours. No prompts on the self checkout to warn you. (You will get questions asking if you are a Lowes Member or if you would like to give money to a charity, but no warning on the length of time you have to return an item as you scan it.) No return policy visible at checkout. (It is on the wall by the return counter, but that doesn't do much good after you purchase the items.) No one seems to know the names of anyone in management above the 25 year old manager on duty. Call the 1-800 number. Get the no help and disconnected after 20 minutes. You can bring a pot with a dead plant in 362 days after purchase with a receipt and get a full refund, but that $500 washer or $1.99 clearanced Christmas light is a hard no. I asked for a store credit card, so we could use it toward the $200 worth of painting supplies we planned on getting. Nope. While it is frowned upon, I have seen managers, reluctantly, do a cash paid out as a refund in the past. Nope. Just a sorry. I am sorry that I won't be buying $200 worth of Lowes gift cards as gifts anymore. I am sorry that I bought a water heater / boiler unit from Lowes about a year ago. I am sorry that Lowes is my last option. Menards.. Ace.. Home Depot.. RP.. anyone else. Here, probably, comes Lowe's sorry with no satisfactory resolution..
