- DDDavidFeb 24, 20261.0I called at about 4:30 pm on a Friday after locking my keys in my car while shopping. I was told someone would be there within 15 minutes which turned into an hour. Which isn’t a big deal, I understand things happen. But once they got there, I was given no quote on getting my keys out, but based on experience I assumed I would pay anywhere from $60-150. After they got my keys out which took almost an hour in itself, he turns to me and said “that’ll be $425” . I told him there is no way, I literally could have broken my own window and replaced it for half that price. I paid the fee, and immediately called to report my experience with the company. The lady I spoke with completely agreed that this price was outrageous. I get an email a few days later saying they are refunding me $110.00. Which is great that I got any of it back but still, over $300 for a locksmith service is crazy. I have since called several companies to get quotes because this didn’t sit right with me. I was quoted anywhere from $60-$150 bucks with the $150 being an emergency after hours cost. I would never use this company again and would actually go out of my way to make sure anyone I know doesn’t use them either.
