DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!
I recently purchased a Toro electric snowblower that was on sale and came with a free Toro leaf blower. Just before the expected delivery, I received a voicemail from Stephanie, informing me that there was a missing part (the chute) from the manufacturer and that my order was being canceled without consulting me. Instead of ordering the part, they decided to cancel.
To make matters worse, I noticed a $295 charge on my credit card that I had not authorized. This was the full charge for the leaf blower! When I called the store and spoke to Stephanie, she apologized multiple times and stated that she would consult a manager. After about 10 minutes, I got a callback from her stating she had processed a refund for the leaf blower, but the cancellation of the snowblower would remain in effect.
I expressed my dissatisfaction, as I needed the snowblower and wanted the sales price I had initially received. When I asked to speak to a manager, Dale informed me that there was nothing he could do. He refused to reorder the snowblower at the sale price, and if I were to order it again, I would lose my place in line for delivery. I even suggested receiving the sale price on a different model, but he declined that as well.
Dale's lack of empathy and problem-solving skills was shocking. If this company truly values customer service, they need to reassess their leadership. I will not be shopping at Lowe’s again, and the only reason I was in the store in the first place was because of this sale.

So impressed with the management and team members of the lake in the hills location! We went for the Black Friday opening today to get the bucket and I was blown away by the way the store director, Maurice, handled the event. He was extremely professional and upbeat even tho it was early in the morning. All of the employees that interacted with us and asked us if we needed help seemed happy to be working there, the store directors vibe seemed contagious. Great job to Maurice and his team! Thank you!
