I want to give a huge thank you to the Lowe’s in Lake in the Hills for their incredible customer service. I had been searching everywhere for the Yukon Cornelius and Hermey the Elf animatronic displays. They were sold out online, impossible to find at any other Lowe’s, and only showing up on eBay for huge markups.
When I came to this store, the staff treated me with kindness, respect, and genuine willingness to help. They took the time to actually check availability, confirmed the items were sold out everywhere, and then offered to sell me their display units. They were polite, professional, and made me feel like a valued customer the entire time.
The difference between this store and others I visited was night and day. The employees here truly go above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for the great service I received. This is exactly how customer service should be, and this location has definitely earned my loyalty.
Highly recommend the Lake in the Hills Lowe’s!

I had some challenges with customer service at this location, particularly with management and the assistance provided by Andrea, as well as Moris, the store manager. It was difficult to get follow-up after I encountered an issue. I went through 3 refrigerators and going on my 4th one because the installation team only drops off the items without checking or inspecting to ensure everything is functioning properly and properly aligned. I feel that better customer service and staff training could really improve the experience here. When I called for assistance, it would have been helpful if they had followed up to see if everything went smoothly with the delivery and if there’s anything else they could do to assist with current issues. I can't strongly recommend shopping here based on my experience, but I have found that Carol Stream offers a higher level of customer service

If I could give Lowes 0 stars I would. Do not use them or their crappy 3rd party vendor that schedules installs. They overprice blind installations and products and then once you pay for the installation, they expect you to call them and schedule it! They blew me off for a week not giving me any courtesy calls or follow ups so I canceled the installation and still have not received a refund. They dont hesitate to charge you but once you ask for a refund they TAKE FOREVER. Just blamed it on their 3rd party company that isn't affiliated with them. News flash, if you hire a 3rd party to install YOUR products that YOU sell...YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE IN THE END. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LOWES

As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
