Hoooooorrrrrible experience at this Hobby Lobby. My mind has been blown. I had to keep in communication non stop because no one knew how to reach out, no one knew what was going on, ruined my artwork, wasted my time, wasted my gas. And for what? Nothing, but a headache.
01/26: Placed the order with Hannah. (Showed her a picture of the same exact frame and collage 24x36 that she was creating in a 48x36 frame)(Mentioned I purposely left an 1.5" white border around my print to make sure everything is perfectly centered.)
01/28: Brought the artwork. Talked to Craig (manager) exactly what I talked to Hannah about so that way a manager knows the details as well.
Both confirmed everything will be done 2/5. Perfect.
01/29: Called to talk to Hannah to make sure she got the artwork that I dropped off yesterday and that everything is communicated correctly.
02/05: Talked to Alek (assistant manager) he said it's not ready and to give them till 2/9.
02/09: I call again Alek checked on the project. Mentioned he's not sure and he'll talk to Hannah after she's done with her break.
2 hours later I call once more and talked to Alek. He said that Hannah actually never showed up to her shift today. But yet he told me she was on break. Then that she will be in tomorrow and will give me a call.
2/10: Called to check up on the project. They said they'd call me back, but never did. I called back an hour later. He mentioned he couldn't call back because my voicemail was "full". But I can still get a missed call. Anyways he said the project was actually finished 2/06.
Went to pick up and pay for it. I couldn't really look at it because it was wrapped. Got home, hung it then realized how it was cut. It was so off centered it was ridiculous. (Additionally there was dirt under the glass and the frame was a bit chipped, which is weird because it's a brand new frame)
Called quickly to bring it back. Alek was there and showed him how bad it was. He said he'll talk to Hannah tomorrow to recenter it.
2/11: Called midway during her shift to make sure I directly speak to her. Mentioned Alek hasn't mentioned anything about it yet. Told her what was wrong with it.
2/12 Called to check on the status of the artwork. Hannah said she texted me, but she texted the wrong number. When we got there. She ended up cutting the picture smaller than the frame, and again I left an extra 1.5" to make sure there's enough to be centered. You could literally see the staples on the border behind the photo.
I had Alek called customer service to handle this because I've called so many times to communicate that I'm blue in the face. After he talked to customer service he comes and tells me "we can refund you the frame and you can keep your print free of charge". EXCUSE ME?!? I can keep my print after they've destroyed it? "Free of charge "?
I had him call customer service again because I needed them to cover the reprint of my artwork.
After being in the store for an hour. He made me fill out an incident report. Next day talked to a Diana, then Tieasha contacted me who sent me a check to replace my artwork after a few days. Then the check came after 2 weeks.
Again I had to consistently call, check up, over confirm, drive multiple times to the store, and for what? I'm so disappointed in the way the team and managers of this Hobby Lobby have handled this. No discount, no give us another chance to do it correctly, nothing but everyone saying 🤷🏻♀️ "I don't know, it wasn't me". Absolutely no accountability.
