This Lowe’s location appears to have multiple Flock-style automated license plate reader cameras positioned around the parking lot area.
For anyone unfamiliar, these systems do not just function like normal security cameras. They are designed to scan license plates, log vehicle details, time, date, and location, and store that information in a searchable database. Depending on who owns or controls the system, that data may be accessible to law enforcement or shared through broader camera networks.
I am posting this so customers are aware that parking here may involve license plate tracking beyond ordinary store security monitoring.
I would like Lowe’s or the property owner to publicly clarify:
Who paid for these cameras
Who owns the collected plate data
How long the data is retained
Whether the data is shared with law enforcement
Whether outside agencies can search the data
Whether customers were notified before entering the lot
Customers should have clear notice when a retail parking lot uses automated license plate tracking.

Our cooktop was picked up and delivered by Lowes' CRST Home Solutions. They would not install the cooktop because my old exhaust vent was round and the new one is rectangular. This was very disappointing as it required a significant delay and hassle that should have been avoidable.

First, I tried to warranty my Craftsman rolling toolbox which the handle no longer latches. They could not warranty the item in store even though it was stocked item. Previously, warrantied a broken socket at this store without issue. They gave me a number to call for Craftsman.
Secondly, I had a 15% mylowe’s PRO Rewards coupon and wanted to buy a specific Weed & Feed that was recommended online. Also picked up some bagged sand. At checkout the discount said applied, but receipt showed no discount. The Weed & Feed had an already discounted price, but not the sand. Customer Service desk said neither item was honered by the coupon which is frustrating as I drove 7.5 miles to this Lowe’s. By the end of my experience I was ready to leave.
Previously bought a nice grill from this store and had an outstanding experience. This last experience was not the same. I will go back to shopping at Menards where I get an 11% Rebate.

Strangest version of a “self checkout”. The staff stands uncomfortably close as if questioning whether you’re shoplifting. Creepy, stalker vibes. I’d rather they scan the items themselves instead of breathing in my ear.
