- DWDeb WillenborgOct 17, 20251.0I returned to Hobby Lobby because I had been overcharged for an item. As I walked in the door I headed for the counter for returns. As I approached it the gentleman put the “register closed sign” up in front of me & sent me to the only other register open right next to him. I got behind the customer at that check out and listened to this same man, chit chat with another employee that walked up. As I was waiting, they changed cashiers on me again with the chit chat. I felt like I wasn’t even there! The gentleman was walking away & was called over to approve my return and asks cashier, “when did she buy it”. I asked if there was a problem. I had my receipt. He then told the cashier to give me back the overpayment but acted so disgusted. Again he walks away & had to be called back again because she needed “his numbers” for the refund. Turns out per his name tag “Zac” was a manager!!! My opinion, he was a rude, sad example of what a manager should be.
