    I had an extremely frustrating experience with Lowe’s. I called the store the night before to confirm their price match policy because I saw the same item listed for less on Lowe’s.com at another location. The employee placed me on hold to check, and two employees confirmed that the price match would be honored. Based on that information, I went into the store at 6 AM the next morning with two sick children, since that was the only time I could go to purchase a Christmas gift for their father. Once there, the manager told me they do not price match items from a different Lowe’s store listed online. I explained that this was exactly why I called ahead, so I wouldn’t have to bring my kids out early for nothing, and I was told there was nothing they could do. The only option offered was to sign up for a credit card to get $100 off, which does not fix the fact that I was given incorrect information by Lowe’s employees the night before. This experience shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and customer care. I wasted my time and put my sick kids through an unnecessary trip because of misinformation provided by the store. I’ve contacted Lowe’s corporate customer care about this issue and will not be shopping here again.

    We bought Samsung dryer, washing machine & refrigerator from Lowe’s Dekalb, I only used did my laundry couple of times, & the dyer wont heat, came back to them & we were told they can’t fix the problem because we didn’t buy the protection insurance. It’s very frustrating. Now we have trouble having Samsung come to fix it. I will never buy anything appliances from them again. Customer service is horrible.

    Black Friday scam, stood in the line since 5 am for a while for the bucket giveaway only to realize they handed out tickets to people already so that they can go back home or sit in the car and come back at 6am. The Lowe’s store terms and conditions did not mention a ticket system this and I wasted 1.5 hrs to drive in freezing cold .

    He went over and beyond!! My wife and I recently moved to Dekalb, from the Naperville area. So to day it in a nutshell, Lowe's has been VERY helpful and conveniently located. Yesterday we had a list of things to get and get done. When we arrived at the store we went to the snow blowers immediately, so we can get them working on getting it ready while we get some other things on the list. We were told they have three in-stock and will look for one and get it ready for us to purchase and load up. We quickly found out that one was on hold for a customer, one was assembled and outside and one was on order to arrive. So they actually had two in the store. The one in a box was being held for another customer, but the one that has been sitting outside, assembled is available. But we couldn't fit it in our vehicle because it was assembled. We asked two times, for an associate to speak to a manager to see how they could help us. The short story was he kept coming back with nothing, no good, or helpful information from the manager. We basically gave up on getting the snow blower from this location. As I mentioned earlier we were looking for other items on our list. This gentlemen by the name of Travis had kept on our heals, so to speak helping us locate things we were looking for. He had heard that we wanted a specific snow blower, but this Lowe's doesn't have one available for us. So we went to check out, my wife completed our transaction while I pulled the car up. I walked back in and she said wait a few minutes, Travis was checking on tje snow blower we wanted. I was a little frustrated because a manager already said they didn't have one in stock for us that day. As we waited for a bout 5-10 minutes, we heard over the employee radios that Travis was on his way to tje front with a snow blower, in the box! When Travis walked up to us I asked the question you or anyone else would.... he responded, the machine that was on hold for another customer is supposed to be assembled for them, as that is what they requested. And there is one outside that is assembled, so this one is available 😀! We had asked, I know two times at least, and got nowhere from a manager whom we never met, but seen that manager walk away in the opposite direction from us. We purchased the snow blower. Travis helped us load it, is we had to remove it from the box in order to fit. But I wanted to mention, we could have purchased the one outside assembled, but the manager said it was too much to disassemble, in order to fit. 6 screws! Yes thats all that it was to assemble or disassemble!. I attached a picture of the machine just how it came out of my vehicle at home, the same way it comes out of the box at the store so we could fit it....really?? I would like to meet this manager that made these poor decisions, multiple times only to let him know that Travis is fully prepared to be able to fill his position, in my opinion! Thank you Travis!! Teavis, you will be the only reason that we will be back! We now live in dekalb and it is just more convenient with heavy purchases so I can help my wife load and all. Otherwise she could shop at the Naperville Location, where she works. Thank you Travis for all of your help!
