I would probably honestly give it like a 3.8 out of 5 but I know you can only do exactly however many stars but as for ambience 10 out of 10, I mean, the dining room room is gorgeous and the staff was fairly attentive and friendly and kind. I really liked how they had options of breakfast lunch and dinner all day at least at the time I was there. I don’t know if that’s only certain days or times, but I can say it was nice to have options that way in case you wanted late breakfast, loved the feeling of sitting in the room under the skylight. My only problem is is they set my mom and I had a really tiny table that was basically right at the entry to the dining room like right next to the front desk so it didn’t really feel like we were a part of the restaurant. I would’ve loved to have been able to see the fountain a little bit better and look up, but from where I was sitting, I didn’t have the best angle, I’ll show photos. Other than that, I just found it to be a bit pricey especially for the sizes. I did like how they had the options of like many things with caviar, but not being very experienced with caviar. I wish that someone had explained a bit more about what the whole caviar little section is all about and how much better it is versus just getting the regular lobster roll… I also would like to say that I was super nervous that I was not able to get the lobster roll because I cannot have mayo and they said they were able to do it without the mayo which was shocking cause normally everything is pre-mixed and already made so it definitely was awesome and I was able to enjoy my lobster roll and it was excellent for sure and then we got mashed potatoes as a side and they were super creamy. They were puréed I believe so very creamy light and whipped, and then we also got roasted broccolini, which was decent as well. also, my mom had two mimosas. I tried a little and they weren’t bad at all. Definitely had enough alcohol lol at least in my opinion, but I’m not a big drinker although again very pricey for the drinks. Now, what changed my life was the dessert… That was a game changer. We got the banana split and when you think of that, you just think of a very boring classic banana split, but there is a very different. They use fresh homemade vanilla ice cream and you can see the vanilla beans in it with vanilla whipped cream on top Three little scoops and then took the most perfectly ripe banana ever cut it in half and Brulé the banana on both sides and it was just incredible with caramel sauce and everything, we were trying to decide between the butterscotch crème brûlée or the banana and I’m so glad we went with the banana. It sounds very plain and simple, but it is not. It is magic. Go have fun, enjoy the ambience, try and get a good seat in the dining room room or request it when you’re making the reservation, just know you’re gonna be spending a little bit more money than you probably should be lol. But some great food.
