The initial rate on my 5x7 unit was $92. Four months later, it was increased to $181 (a 97% increase). Increases like this have happened multiple times since Extra Space Storage acquired this busines, and it is completely outrageous. You should avoid using this facility or any of the Extra Space Storage facilities. If this has happened to you, I encourage you to send an email to State Senator Feigenholtz or State Representative Croke (both representing the district of this location) to voice your complaint.

I’ve used storage units in several states, including here, and I’ve never experienced increases like this. When I contacted them about the price change, I was told they had “sent a postcard.” And honestly — which business in 2025 notifies customers of a major rent increase by postcard instead of email or text? We are in freaking 2025. In my opinion, this is not good business practice and feels abusive toward customers, as these increases are outrages! Based on my experience, this company comes across as extremely greedy and non-transparent. If you expect fair treatment and modern communication, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
