A beautiful restoration was completed on our well loved, oak dining room table, 2 table leaves and 6 chairs. The quality of the table exceeds what can be purchased today in such a disposable world. It was worth the cost to restore our table in which so many family memories were made. It can now be passed along to our daughters. Thank you for the kind, professional and caring service!

- DRDiane RussellJul 12, 20235.0I inherited this fainting couch from my mother-in-law many years ago. In the 1970's my in-laws owned and operated the Oregrande Lodge near Elk City. After they had rebuilt the lodge they had a grand opening. A local historian and author, Gertrude Maxwell, attended. She told my mother-in-law that they needed more items from local history and gifted her this fainting couch. It was in the lodge till my in-laws sold the property. After that it was stored in buildings, barns and old sheds over the next 40 years. Even after receiving it, it took many more years before I found the awesome people at Furniture Doctors. It was in horrible disrepair when I took it to them. When I first saw it after all their hard work it absolutely took my breath away! They are truly miracle workers!

This is not my first experience with the Furniture Doctors. A couple of beautiful family pieces arrived from San Francisco with breaks sustained during their shipment. Knowing from past experience of their beautiful work, I specified my preference to my insurance Adjuster that Furniture Doctors do the repairs. Once the Adjuster took the project up with Furniture Doctors, the project flew out of my hands and was completed beautifully and well ahead of the expected completion date. The project couldn't have been easier for me. The items were collected at my home and delivered back to me. They are beautiful once again. We are so fortunate to have Furniture Doctors in this area . I wouldn't entrust repairs to beautiful antiques to anyone else. Furniture Doctors are specialists extraordinaire.
