Absolutely amazing the help I got from an employee in the paint section. I had walked up to him and said I don’t think you’ll be able to tell me where to find what I’m looking for since you’re a paint specialist but I’ll ask you in case! Much to my surprise he knew exactly where I could find this item! Unfortunately Lowe’s doesn’t carry this exact home furnace filter 14x20x4. But I was just amazed on how kind and how he knew exactly what aisle I would find the filters. Thank you to you, young man!!!

you're going to pay a premium price for harbor freight quality. return policy also changed recently and you can't get store credit the way you used to. lady says they changed the policy corporate wide last month and it has surprised a lot of customers. edit: This dude timothy bird reviewed a home depot and thought it was lowes XD

Very helpful staff! Helped us load up concrete pavers by hand as the forklift was busy. This one always has a great atmosphere during the holidays, too!

Yall need to revamp your customer service in all departments (minus the appliance department those guys seem ready and good listeners). Both in person and over the phone. In person anytime we go someone seems to be talking about personal life with a coworker rather than helping others. And they seem often times put off when we ask for help. On the phone it’s like distracted. Many times getting passed to the wrong department or never get back to you. Willing to take this 1 star off if it changes but man. It’s been multiple visits now.

We purchased Stainmaster carpet from Lowe’s in Nampa, Idaho for the entire upstairs of our home, including padding, at a cost of over $4,000. Less than two years later, the carpet on our stairs is already wearing out badly. After weeks of going back and forth with Lowe’s, we were finally told the truth: the polyester carpet we were sold should never have been recommended for high-traffic areas like stairs or hallways because it crushes easily and does not hold up to normal use. We were very clear at the time of purchase about where this carpet would be installed. We relied on Lowe’s flooring staff to recommend the correct product, which is exactly what customers should be able to do when spending thousands of dollars. Instead, we were sold a low-durability material that any knowledgeable flooring professional should know is not appropriate for stairs. On top of that, we have now learned the carpet on the stairs was installed in the wrong direction, which further accelerates wear. After all of this, Lowe’s solution was to offer a $100 gift card toward replacing the carpet that their own employees recommended and installed incorrectly. To be clear — this was not a customer mistake. This was poor product guidance, poor installation decisions, and poor customer service. Offering $100 after a $4,000 purchase that failed in under two years is not a resolution, it’s an insult. Buyers beware: do not assume that the flooring department at a big box store will steer you in the right direction. Do your own research or work with a reputable local flooring retailer, because in our experience Lowe’s was more than willing to sell us the wrong product and then take no responsibility when it failed. Extremely disappointed, and we will not be doing business with Lowe’s again.
