  Super helpful staff, huge selection, always has sales on so many different things!! The associate that went out of her way to help me find what I was looking for was Amazing!! One of my favorite stores to go to!!

  They have a huge variety of craft and decorative supplies. Lots of people having fun there. It's an uplifting experience to shop here!!

  I visited today while shopping with my toddler and overall had a fine experience, but I wanted to share some feedback. At checkout, I handed the cashier a book my son had been holding so it could be scanned. After it was scanned, I gave it back to him while we were finishing the transaction. A manager then approached and asked, “Are you going to buy that?” The cashier clarified that it had already been scanned. I completely understand the need for attentiveness and loss prevention — I’ve worked many years in retail management myself. However, the phrasing felt a bit accusatory and could have been handled more professionally. A quick confirmation with the cashier or a softer approach (for example, “Did we get the book too?”) would have felt more customer-friendly. I’m sharing this simply as constructive feedback. I appreciate attentive staff, but tone and delivery make a big difference in the customer experience — especially for parents juggling little ones at checkout.

  I never doubt this place they have everything when looking for craft supplies and I like to do crafts with my grandchildren and I always come to hobby lobby to find crafts and it’s a clean and friendly store!

  Let me start this review by saying I’ve been shopping at this Hobby lobby for close to 10 years and most of my experiences and interactions with employees here have been positive. However, on this most recent trip, I interacted with a very rude associate. The previous weekend I had been in looking for an item that the store has stocked for years and spoke to a manager who told me that they may no longer have it. I reached out to the general Hobby lobby customer service to voice, my concern about no longer having the item in stock in stores and suggested they consider bringing the item back. I got a response from general customer service where they provided me with information that the item was moved to a different department and therefore had a new SKU number. She told me to go to my local store and talk to an associate to find the item. I went to my store this evening, went to the department where she indicated the item might be and couldn’t locate it so I sought out an associate who was standing by the front door who had an iPad and looked like she may be able to help. She was engaged in a conversation with two young associates so I waited patiently for them to acknowledge me. I explained what I was looking for and provided her with the new SKU. She didn’t let me finish explaining what I was looking for before rudely asking for the SKU and typed it into her iPad. If she had given me a chance to explain I would have said the customer service agent told me it wasn’t sold online. She told me the item was not sold online therefore it was not carried in stores. What got me was how rude she was to me when I was polite, and how she treated a customer in front of her coworkers. She didn’t offer any alternative suggestions on items I could look for or even a simple “I’m sorry we no longer have it”. So Hobby lobby Nampa if you read this, I hope you will take my review and feedback into consideration when training your employees who will be working at the front of the store.
