- JLJon LongdinDec 29, 20251.0Our business locks were rekeyed and we needed duplicate keys made. I was at the grocery store so I decided to make the 3 copies I needed. Unfortunately, none of the duplicate keys actually work in the lock. When I match the keys up to the original it is seems to match, but they do not turn the lock. The key edges where it was cut are pretty sharp which could be the issue. Usually keys are buffed after they are cut to remove any burrs. I'm not sure if these kiosk normally do that or if the kiosk I used was not working correctly. I don't think I will use one again based on this experience.
