Sudha helped our family find a Christmas tree we could not find ourselves. She happily took her time to go find the tree herself. She also gave our kids workshop packages. Lowe’s should feel happy to have her because I’ve never been helped like today! Thanks so much.

I wish I could give Lowe’s zero stars for this nightmare of a “door installation.” What should have been a simple project turned into 6+ months of lies, shortcuts, damage, and complete lack of accountability. I paid Lowe’s $1,700 for a door and “professional installation.” The first door came in wrong. Instead of owning up to it, they actually tried to convince me it was correct. I had to email the manufacturer myself to prove Lowe’s was lying, it was unfinished, just like I suspected. As shown in attached email manufacturer customer service rep could tell by just looking at pictures that it was unfinished, then confirmed that Lowe's did in fact order it unfinished. That’s the level of honesty I’ve been dealing with. After dragging me along for months, they reordered. The second door came damaged, the framing was done wrong, and worst of all the installer framed the wall directly on top of my floating vinyl floor. Any real contractor knows that voids the warranty and ruins the floor. A flooring company gave me a written estimate for $800 in damage just to fix what Lowe’s caused. And now to fix it, everything they did — the wall, the door, the frame — has to be completely ripped out and redone. So what exactly did I pay them for? Let’s not forget the quality — paint chips everywhere, sloppy cuts, shortcuts at every step. Nothing about it was professional. And the customer service? Endless follow-ups, vague promises, and wasted hours of my time. Even the store supervisor admitted their work was a mess, but when it came to actually making it right, Lowe’s corporate only offered me $450 total. That doesn’t even cover the floor damage, let alone the install I paid nearly $800 for. They called it a “fair” offer. In what world is that fair? I have an email from store supervisor stating 2nd door arrived in "perfect condition", took the two weeks just to get me scheduled for re-install and when they did the 2nd door arrived damage. The installer did point it out and Lowe's customer service called me while installer was here, they acknowledged door/jamb damage and said I could either accept and receive a discount for damaged goods or I could have them re-order for 3rd time. Because this was 7 months now after initial purchase I accepted the door. Contractor proceeded with install, got done and left the house without even saying he was done or anything. I went down and immediately noticed the huge gash in my floor, I reported it to Lowe's right away. At that point I didn't want Lowe's doing any further work and called the flooring company that I purchased the floor from a year prior to get an estimate on the damage, and that's when I found out that because Lowe's did not frame the wall properly that now my flooring warranty is voided, plus $800 to fix the damage, they would have to tear down the wall Lowe's built obviously to remove the planks below. Then also replace two planks that Lowe's put a cut in. It got escalated to Lowe's Executive Relations, they reviewed all the pictures, acknowledged the mistakes but then said that they believe $450 is a fair compensation, how when they caused $800 in damage to my floor and installation they charged for me almost $800 has to be completely re-done. Their Executive Relations told me if I don't accept their $450 and sign their document that they will consider this matter as closed. But now Lowe's is going to pretend here that they want to help and for me to call again you have all my info so not sure why you'd want me to call again. Bottom line: I paid for a professional install and got lies, damage, and months of stress. Lowe’s refused to take responsibility, even after the BBB got involved. Everything they touched has to be redone, and they still want me to settle for less than what they broke. That’s not professional service — it’s embarrassing. If you value your time, your money, or your home, do not hire Lowe’s for installation. They’ll take your money, cut corners, and leave you to clean up the mess.
