Dungey's Furniture & Floors continues to honor the family legacy started by Everett Dungey in 1963 at his "Bargain Barn" at 960 East Main Street in New Hampton, Iowa. Everett's two sons, Mark & Trace, took over the family business in 1983. Four years later they opened a second store in Osage, Iowa to better serve Northeast and North Central Iowa. In October of 2014, just one year after celebrating 50 years in business, their East Main store was destroyed by fire. Since 2017, Dungey's has been located at 904 Canty Avenue behind McDonald's. The Dungey family is humbled and grateful for the ongoing support from their loyal customers. They will continue to offer furniture, flooring, bedding and window treatments for generations to come.
