  Bill Friend & crew installed Designer Palm Trees for us along with landscaping rock! Very punctual and neat! We are very pleased with their workmanship! We will definitely give them a call should we need any additional work done!

  My basement got flooded couple of years ago due to heavy rains over july 4th weekend. It’s due to my home seller’s poor landscaping work. Bill worked on this project in April 2020, and fixed this grading issue around my window well. He also did a really nice landscaping work around it, installed drain tail, catch basins, grounded gutters, and adjusted grading to improve drainage, reseeded the area. Bill and his crew is very professional and they finished the project couple of days early. He kept us in the loop throughout the project, answered lot of questions and made this expensive project less stressful. I been wanting to see how his grading project is going to work during heavy rains. Finally yesterday evening we got some heavy rains in Ankeny and I could able see the project in action. My sump pump hardly ran during the rain. I didn’t see any rain water coming into my window well. Water was nicely flowed into the drain tail and towards street. I am happy and satisfied with Bill’s work. Bill and his crew is very thorough, professional and I would highly recommend them.

Being an Online Auction Service we have critical times/days when we need to have our lot cleared for customer preview/pickup as well as consignor drop-off and Friend Landscaping has always been responsive to those needs ensuring all is cleared for our customers!   We had a drainage problem after any rain the ground would hold water for days you couldn't walk in the grass without soaking your shoes. I contacted Bill and at his suggestion he installed a 4" drain system and now we can have a 3" rain and the ground is wet like you would expect but no soaked shoes. I can mow this with my compact tractor after a rain and before I would have to wait 2 or 3 days for it to dry up. Bill showed up and put in the 500 ft and finished one day when done you could hardly tell they put it in. Excellent work, I will have them do my next project.
