I went to La-Z-Boy to purchase a recliner for my husband for Christmas. I was met by the store manager, who was happy and bubbly and very helpful. When I arrived at the store, I already had a design in mind as well as a fabric, since they did not have something that met my needs I special ordered. The chair arrived the day after Christmas, which wasn’t a problem because I had been informed it would not be there for the holiday. When it arrived two delivery men came in who were very quick. They put the two pieces together I signed and out the door they went. I then had time to try the chair and really look at what I received. The chair is very poor quality. The workmanship is pathetic, and the fabric was even frayed. I contacted the manager who had a total change in personality. She was rude and defensive. She kept telling me I just needed to trim the chair or the fabric and it would be fine. She was unwilling to listen to what I was saying. She never once said we would like to work with you to make you happy or we would like to make sure you are satisfied. instead just implied that I was difficult. She even told me to leave her store. I spent over $2000 on this chair and I could’ve gone to a big box store and got something better for 600 bucks . I now have to wait for a telephone video call so they can look at the poor Workmanship. Very, very disappointed. They told me since I accepted the chair and signed when it was delivered that it’s my problem. Beware! I guess it’s great if you get something good but if you have a problem, you’re out of luck they are not interested in making sure they rectify a problem. The manager is a very nasty rude woman. Very phony.

We came to the store, looking for a recliner with particular features, and we had general idea of the size and upholstery we wanted. Our sales person went with us through the store to see several models, and show us several possible upholstery materials for the model, we finally selected - with lots of help and no pressure. It was a good consumer experience.

I wanted to take a moment to share my La-Z-Boy experience in Davenport, IA.
I had an amazing experience with Bradley (Sales) from the time I walked into the store to delivery. I was looking for a recliner to fit my petite body frame. He greeted me with a warm smile and was very welcoming, professional, attentive to my needs, and very knowledgeable of the recliners/products. He asked great questions to determine my needs then walked the showroom with confidence as he showed me my choices. He knew exactly what I needed!
I was so impressed of how detail oriented Bradley was about the design, specs, benefits of each recliner for my body and fabric choices. He was exceptionally patient as I narrowed down my choice. He went above and beyond any experience that I’ve ever had when furniture shopping. When I sat, rocked & reclined in the Pinnacle I knew right then it was the perfect recliner for me!
I and my husband was so pleased with the experience & quality of La-Z-boy furniture that we bought a loveseat & a recliner for my husband. Delivery was seamless as well!
I also noticed the camaraderie Bradley has with the other sales staff & management. They truly seem to enjoy working with each other and love their jobs!
I highly recommend Bradley at the Davenport, IA location!

I highly recommend purchasing from La-Z-Boy. From start to finish, we had an excellent experience. The salesperson and designer were extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful, taking the time to understand our needs without ever making us feel pressured. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable, and we felt confident and comfortable with our decisions. It was truly a positive shopping experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend La-Z-Boy to others.

Good selection of furniture pieces. Not customer focused; 1st concerning item is the Terms of sale. Re-stocking fee is extremely high and refund is low should you change your mind. Next, delivery is entirely out of the customer’s hands. They told me I would have my pieces delivered by the holiday. This didn’t happen and I then was confirmed for the Saturday after Christmas. No notification of time so I called the day before and was told my delivery date had been moved to the following week. No notice, no apology. I asked for the manager and haven’t heard any response. I do not recommend doing business with this company!
