  I LOST MY PHONE IN HOBBY LOBBY TODAY about 3p.m. I realized shortly after leaving it was no longer in my possession. I immediately returned to the store. An assistant near the front door stated no phones, to her knowledge, had recently been turned in. She took my name and number. She and a clerk tried to use a landline to call the phone....no luck. The manager on duty did not come forward when I asked that they be called. I went home. Contacted Verizon they were able to use a HUB website which showed my phone was INDEED AT HOBBY LOBBY. I returned. Laptop in hand to show them it was there. Again the assistant by the door said nothing had yet been turned in but when I again asked if the manager could be called she contacted them and GENESIS came forward. She was a God send and is an asset to the organization. She used her phone in attempts to call my phone while we walked together around the store. She stated she could understand my anxiety and frustration. She wondered if I could have lost it in the vestibule or the parking lot.I said I thought it was possible that it could have fallen from a pocket or my purse but the last place I remembered seeing it was in the child seat if the cart. So Genesis suggested we take one more look at the carts before leaving the store. Low and behold THANK GOD and HALLELUJAH there was my phone jammed in about 6 carts deep. I'm not sure who or when my cart was placed in the rack, I know I did not perform the task. I am just happy Genesis found my phone. THANKS AGAIN FOR HELPING A PANICKED LADY OUT!! Have a great weekend!

  Very good company. I wish they had more American made products but rarely is it I cannot find what I'm looking for here! I felt the staff on the phone was super helpful when I called to see if they had a product I was looking for!

  Traveled 1hr to get fabrics offered in the Ames location that were unavailable at the Marshalltown location. The employee who cut the fabric was rude and in a rush. She cut our fabrics jagged but we didn’t notice until we got back to Marshalltown. We attempted to make do with our project but the blankets ultimately fell apart due to the poor cuts. I called and spoke to a manager who told me I would be able to get a refund if I brought my debit card and receipt in. I clarified that was all I needed and he confirmed. When I finally had time to make the hour drive, I got there and I was told I would need the fabrics for the refund. I told him I lived in Marshalltown and reiterated that I was told I only needed debit and the receipt. He did not work with me and told me there was nothing he could do. I have never received such poor customer service from any other Hobby Lobby location and am devastated that I have wasted gas and money on terrible products and services.
