    Poor Experience Buying GE Gas Stove from Lowe’s Online (November 2025) I want to warn others about the nightmare I just endured buying a GE gas stove online from Lowe’s. Timeline: Sun, Nov 16: Purchased GE gas stove online. It included a conversion kit to LP. Mon, Nov 17: Delivery attempted. Needed a tech to switch to LP after delivery. Wed, Nov 19: Tech visit: stove wouldn’t ignite. Only 2 of 5 burners worked; oven wouldn’t ignite. Tech said the unit didn’t look new and appeared wet/condensed from being outside. Hawaii time difference compounded delays; Lowe’s was often closed when I tried to call. Warranty/Service: Filed a GE warranty claim on Thu morning. GE routed to Eliet; Fri, Nov 21, Eliet asked for a $199 deposit (policy). I declined. GE said Eliet shouldn’t charge since stove is under warranty; GE would cover it and offered another provider, but scheduling was uncertain. Lowe’s interaction: Thu: Told I was outside a 48-hour window and no exception would be made, despite time-zone and delivery windows. Multiple requests for a supervisor were denied; no resolution offered. Friday: Couldn’t reach Lowe’s; tried the local store on Friday, was put on hold for 25 minutes and I hung up. Status: The delivered stove feels used and non-functional. Very disappointing buying experience. Bottom line: If you’re shopping for appliances from Lowe’s online, be prepared for potential delivery/installation hiccups, questionable “new” condition, and weak customer escalation. I’m out time and money due to issues that should be covered under warranty. Would not recommend at this point. only gave a 1 star since 0 was not an option.

    Delivery and installation people do a terrible job. Never again will I shop here again for anything that needs to be delivered and installed.

    The customer service over there specifically in the bathroom fixture department is absolutely terrible. The sales associate's attitude, demeanor is negative and she demonstrated a complete disregard and contempt towards the customer. I just had a simple question about the availability of a shower fixture and the attendant was unwilling to provide assistance and called for another sales associate to help which never showed after 40 minutes of me waiting while she just stood there and talked story with another sales associate. I highly recommend people take their business somewhere else. The associates at Lowes, Waikele are lazy, uninformed about the products and one thing that anyone can count on over there is terrible customer service. If that type of interaction is what you're after then Lowe's, Waipahu at the Waikele Center is the place for you!

    Drove over 30 minutes to buy a product it said was in stock… surprise it wasn’t. The staff also didn’t know if they carried it. The staff is nice but… i shouldn’t have to wait when your staff didn’t unpackage items properly… and then still put them on the floor for sale. I waited 15 minutes, and went back to the item twice to bring others when the self check lady couldn’t get the item to scan. I even said never mind, I’ll just skip it, not to worry about it. By the time the 4th person came back to me… they unwrapped the items and sold me two, and I didn’t want to tell them I didn’t want them anymore if it wasn’t the whole package… but after over 20 minutes blown just waiting for 4 employees to look at wood stakes I didn’t care anymore. The package would have been for two separate projects. I wouldn’t have bought that item if I had known it wasn’t that price… I would have bought the first way better priced items for one of the projects…that would have been way better. Turns out it was Way over priced, I was now late to stuff… I should have just walked out. Now I have two pieces of crap for the price of two of the way better ones that would have lasted way longer. Lowe’s… if you mess up don’t make your customer PAY FOR IT. Update… the product broke immediately upon starting to gently install it. 🙄 which just makes the fact that I wouldn’t have ever selected it for this part of the project if it hadn’t been labeled improperly even more frustrating. Overall a HUGE waste of my time… we don’t have time to drive an hour to return this cheap stuff to Lowe’s, this project had to be done before we leave town lol. going to Home Depot to save time, money and sanity.
