Unapologetic Manager. Ordered a washer and dryer set and had it for delivery that Saturday. Got informed the night before of my delivery window and day of was notified that the washer that was in stock when I ordered it was now out of stock and sold to another customer. Not happy of how the situation was handled and definitely not happy with a manager being unapologetic on their error. Manager made as if it was typical fashion for this process to be how it turned out for me. Unacceptable. Recommend when purchasing appliances from them actually having them physically identify it in the store and put it aside for you so you’ll know for sure you’ll be getting it on your delivery day.

If you try calling you get an AI which sends to a text message link to the web. If you call the store they NEVER pick up the phone. The employees know nothing- not even where items are in the store! There’s no expertise in the store. The employees stand around talking to each other. No recognition of the fact they are there to serve customers. I stood there for ten minutes whilst 10 employees sat there talking amongst each other and had to interrupt them to ask if i was in the right store? No shame, no knowledge, no customer service. Shame on the owners. Manage your staff and hire knowledgeable staff. How can you run a business if there’s no one to answer the phone? And if you read the other reviews you will discover it’s been a problem for a long time. The self described ( owner) clearly has not been able to fix the problem after dozens of bad reviews.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with the Kona Lowe’s regarding a flooring project, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before using them for anything similar.
Over the course of about a month and a half, I was given constant runaround, delays, and inconsistent communication. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a prolonged and disorganized experience with little accountability.
To make matters worse, after all the delays—many of which were on their end—they ultimately rejected the checks for two projects because they were dated five days after the quotes. This is despite the fact that the timeline issues were largely caused by their own lack of coordination and follow-through.
Overall, the experience felt inefficient, poorly managed, and unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend using this location for flooring or larger project work unless significant improvements are made to their process and communication.

Mahalo Kalani for your amazing customer service helping my daughter and I load up and secure 24 sheets of plywood onto the back of a rented truck for the long haul back to ocean view. He walked me back in the store to find the straps to properly tie down the load safely and even taught me how to use them. He really made me feel safe driving this large load.

WARNING: IF YOU HAVE RENTAL PROPERTIES ON-ISLAND, DO NOT USE THIS STORE FOR MAJOR PURCHASES!! YOU SHOULD ALSO AVOID THEM IF YOU DON'T LIVE CLOSE TO THE STORE! While on-island we purchased a refrigerator for our rental property. There was an issue with the equipment, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to talk to anyone by phone. After repeated calls to the appliance department (no one every answered); messages left for the appliance manager (not one message returned); and emails to the store manager and to corporate (without a meaningful reply); we were advised that we would should come into the store to talk to someone about the issue. Not going to fly to Hawaii from Colorado just to have a conversation that could happen over email or the phone. WE FINALLY JUST GAVE UP!! Not worth the frustration. Will NEVER EVER make another major purchase from this Lowe's location!!
