    Poor Experience Buying GE Gas Stove from Lowe’s Online (November 2025) I want to warn others about the nightmare I just endured buying a GE gas stove online from Lowe’s. Timeline: Sun, Nov 16: Purchased GE gas stove online. It included a conversion kit to LP. Mon, Nov 17: Delivery attempted. Needed a tech to switch to LP after delivery. Wed, Nov 19: Tech visit: stove wouldn’t ignite. Only 2 of 5 burners worked; oven wouldn’t ignite. Tech said the unit didn’t look new and appeared wet/condensed from being outside. Hawaii time difference compounded delays; Lowe’s was often closed when I tried to call. Warranty/Service: Filed a GE warranty claim on Thu morning. GE routed to Eliet; Fri, Nov 21, Eliet asked for a $199 deposit (policy). I declined. GE said Eliet shouldn’t charge since stove is under warranty; GE would cover it and offered another provider, but scheduling was uncertain. Lowe’s interaction: Thu: Told I was outside a 48-hour window and no exception would be made, despite time-zone and delivery windows. Multiple requests for a supervisor were denied; no resolution offered. Friday: Couldn’t reach Lowe’s; tried the local store on Friday, was put on hold for 25 minutes and I hung up. Status: The delivered stove feels used and non-functional. Very disappointing buying experience. Bottom line: If you’re shopping for appliances from Lowe’s online, be prepared for potential delivery/installation hiccups, questionable “new” condition, and weak customer escalation. I’m out time and money due to issues that should be covered under warranty. Would not recommend at this point. only gave a 1 star since 0 was not an option.

    Their next day delivery service only delivered 1 out of 8 items. Opened a case with customer service online. They said store would call, but got no call. Tried calling then myself, and like others, constant ringing, no answer. I finally get through to them late at night and they hang up on me. If the other guys had the product I would be there. But for anything else home improvement from now on it wont be from Lowes. This is ridiculous that I have to chase down my product because of their mistake. Can't even request a refund.

    Don’t you even call them up to speak with the store associates. I have been calling for the past 5 days and have never talked to anyone. It is a total waste of your time. Also, some delivery people are not careful enough, and your house gets damaged as a result of their negligence. They forgot to tighten the water valve back. The night-shift female manager will not give you a chance to speak or apologize for the two times the washing machine was delivered dented. She will provide you with nothing but attitude. She will make you feel you did something wrong when you are just a customer trying to do business with them. I still haven't received the refund for the extra dryer cord that we ordered, which was already returned with the delivery personnel, and I have to drive down there and waste more of my time. I am writing this while I am on the line, hoping someone will pick up my call. Good luck!

    Worst company out there in regards to getting a simple question answered over the phone, the automated service will simply transfer you to a extension that no one will ever answer, get your shit together

    The item was delivered damaged and never left the moving truck. I requested a full refund and the story only partially refunded me; the purchase was $2850.18 and the store refunded $2757.00. The delivery team did not haul out the old equipment; I didn't receive one item from Lowes and yet I still cannot get a full refund. The Lowes Customer Care number continually submits a ticket, which goes to the main store, which closes the ticket. I've the phone number to the manager of the local store, but calls to that number have gone unanswered for over 4 days. Since this experience, I've decided to go purchase the appliances with Costco, who is known for their exquisite customer service. Aloha Lowes, your poor service over $93 has cost you a customer.
