  I placed an order for multiple items and was later told that some of the products I had already paid for were not actually available, and that Dreams could not even tell me when they would be back in stock. I was effectively being asked to wait another two weeks simply to find out when the items might become available. One mattress could apparently be delivered several weeks later, but there was still no proper timeframe for the rest of the order. Given that I am moving house and need to know when essential furniture is going to arrive, I raised very reasonable concerns about this. Unfortunately, the customer service I received from the store manager, Antiqa, was extremely poor. When I questioned the lack of clarity over delivery, the response became dismissive and confrontational, and the order was then cancelled. The situation has now become even more concerning because Dreams still has a significant amount of my money and I have received no clear written confirmation explaining exactly when my refund will be processed or when the money will be back in my account. I emailed on Friday and did not receive a proper response. I then spoke to the store again today at around 11am and was told I would receive an email confirming the refund situation. I am still waiting. The only document I have received so far is essentially a cancellation/invoice document which does not clearly confirm when the refund is being processed or when I will receive my money. I have now also struggled to get through by phone and have had no meaningful response to my emails. Given the amount of money involved, this is extremely stressful and completely unacceptable. I am posting this review now because I think other customers should be aware of my experience before placing a large order with this store. I will update the review if and when Dreams finally provides confirmation and returns my money. At the moment, however, I would strongly advise people to be extremely cautious about ordering from Dreams Guildford based on the way this situation has been handled.

  My mum and I had a fantastic experience at this Dreams store while shopping for new beds, largely thanks to Pauline. She was absolutely brilliant—very patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. She took the time to make sure we found exactly what we needed without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. We left feeling very happy with our purchase and the excellent service we received. If you’re planning on visiting, I highly recommend asking for Pauline!"
