  Great service! Booking was quick and straightforward. Quote estimate was transparent and fair. On the day, staff was punctual and arrived at start of the window the was provided to us, which we very much appreciate. Our carpet had lot of dog hair from previous owners, which the cleaning removed substantially. Carpets dried well and left no noticeable chemical fragrance. I will use the service again.

  Once again I have had out McMillans’s carpet cleaner to do my downstairs cream carpet and Paul has done another outstanding job in getting all the daily grime and dirt out . It looks almost new again . It gets a lot of “traffic “ between the family and our dog . No shoes allowed on it now ! Thank you for your amazing service and hard work. I’ve already recommended you to my sister and a friend !

  We were really pleased with how clean our sofa and armchair came up after the service. They both look great and smell lovely and fresh, so we’re happy with the cleaning results themselves. However, we were disappointed with how much water was left behind. Before the appointment, we specifically asked how wet everything would be and were told it wouldn’t be too bad, just to leave the doors open for ventilation. In reality, there were large puddles of water left on our wooden floor and wooden side table, both of which have unfortunately been left with slight water damage. We feel this could have been easily avoided by putting protective sheets down or, at the very least, wiping up the excess water before leaving. We moved a lot of furniture and belongings out of the way beforehand, and we’re very glad we did because there was much more water than we expected. We also had to put the cushions outside in the sunshine to help them dry, as they were soaking wet. It’s now around eight hours later and the sofa is still very damp. While we’re happy with how clean everything looks, we do think more care should have been taken to protect our home and to set realistic expectations about how wet the furniture would be and how long it would take to dry.
