  I had a horrible experience with this storage facility. I left my personal items (valuables) in the hands of this facility while I was on an extended job assignment. I returned for a Holiday trip and decided I should open the unit to check on things, but unfortunately my unit was double locked, preventing me from accessing. I wasn't able to reach any staff during the time. Days afterward I was able to reach someone and I complained about not being able to access my unit. The owner explained how their may have been a confusion on their behalf, but the unit should now be accessible. Unfortunately I was not in town anymore; however, the manager credited me (1) month fee. Several months later I returned to the unit. Upon opening the unit, I immediately noticed sagging insulation, water damaged items. I contact the manager and was told he dont come out after 6pm but he will look into it the following day. I cleared all items from the unit. I called and left multiple voicemails with the owner, no returned calls. After about (2) weeks I finally got an answer from the owner. I explained to him my experience and he informed me that he's not liable and that I should file a personal property insurance claim through my renter's insurance. I am so disappointed. I felt like I left my valuables in a safe and secure storage, but to my surprise I made a poor decision choosing International City Self Storage as a safe haven for my belongings. Please learn from my experience and make a better choice for your storage needs.

  I've rented for two years from this storage facility. The man who manages it, Mr Danny is such a helpful and caring person. He keeps a close eye on everything and always lets me know if there is any problems. I trust him with the keys to my unit and I've never had any issues. I notice regular police visits when I'm there at night and I've never felt unsafe. Its like having a member of the family watch over your things. Highly recommend this storage facility to anyone.
