    Congratulations, Lowe’s. You have managed to break the spirit of an exhausted school teacher. I have never left a negative review for any company in my life, but after three months of failed promises and countless wasted hours, I feel I have no other choice. I saved for nearly two years to purchase four new appliances from Lowe’s, including installation and haul-away. That was three months ago. Two of the appliances I received were factory defective. To resolve this, I have spent over 12 hours on the phone with more than 10 different agents, calmly explaining the situation each time. I have been promised replacements by multiple people including Chris Bell at the Vidalia store, as well as Joe and Emily, yet only one defective item has been replaced. The other remains unresolved. I have taken days off work to wait for deliveries that never came. I am a special education teacher, and my students’ routines suffer when I am forced to miss class. That alone has been devastating. To make matters worse, one delivery attempt for my range was made during school hours despite repeated reassurances it would be scheduled after work. The final straw was spending 20 minutes today on hold with the Vidalia Lowe’s, only to be endlessly passed between departments. This has become a cycle of broken promises, misinformation, and complete disregard for my time and well-being. At this point, I feel lied to and ignored. I did everything in good faith: I paid in full, I remained patient, I was polite on every call. If I were a litigious person, I would file a claim for my missed work days, the many hours I’ve spent on the phone in an effort to receive things I’ve already paid for, and the substantial distress this preposterous situation has caused me. What was supposed to be an happy thing has been an exhausting nightmare. Unfortunately for me, I’m just a really tired teacher. So you win, Lowe’s. I hope you are proud of yourselves.
