I basically had to help myself today. I'm not saying the guy didn't try to help me but he was not very knowlbin plumbing and I found what I needed snd still went on a wing and a prayer.

Terrible service. Employees don’t care and will walk right by you without asking if you need help or when asked you are told it’s not their department. I’d rather shop an independent Ace for better service.

I have had the WORST experience with the Lowe’s delivery team. Recently moved and decided to purchase a new washer and dryer since my apartment didn’t come with them. Lowe’s was the option I went with after the Labor Day sales. Got them delivered like two days later (Monday September 15th). I was at work, my friend was at home to meet them.
First issue was that my NEW washer had a dent in it. Was told I could either call Lowe’s and get a new one or get a discount. Okay, sure. I can overlook that.
Moving to the second issue, apparently the vent “worm” for my new dryer was the same size as the pipe in my apartment. So they wouldn’t connect them. And only “had ten minutes to complete the delivery” per my friend. The delivery guy told us that I needed to go to Lowe’s and get a “reducer”. I go after work, having no idea what it was. I get a team member to come over and help me. He gives me the wrong size. I go all the way home to put it on and realize that not only does the new reducer not fit, but the delivery guys put holes in my vent “worm”. I am upset at this point because I bought new so I didn’t have to touch anything and it seems I’m doing too much! So I had to drive all the way back to Lowe’s only to get a bigger size reducer and it still be wrong!
When I get home, this is when I notice the HOLE in my new apartment wall behind the pipe for the dryer. I don’t really understand how it got there! I don’t understand why a hole would need to be made IN MY WALL.
We call Lowe’s and tell them they left a hole. I get a call from the delivery team manager the next day that he will personally come and look at the hole in my wall and do the dryer tube that Saturday ( the 20th) to fix it.
So at this point I go from Monday to Saturday not being able to USE my new dryer. I wait all day Saturday and he never shows up. We call and get told that he forgot about me because he had a job out of town. Well then he says he’s sending a guy over to connect my vent tube so we can use the dryer and that he’ll call me on Monday to decide a time to come and fix the wall. The guy arrived to fix my dryer tube and we can use our dryer, yay!
Monday comes. No call. I’m at work and cannot use my phone. So I wait. And wait. Then on Friday (26th) now more than a week since the incident happened. He called me at work. Had to leave and hide in the hall to answer. Tell me he’s sending someone at lunch that day to come and fix the wall. Wow, a week of waiting and gets a short notice that they’re coming! Luckily my friend was home. The guy (his son apparently) comes over wholly unprepared to fix the wall. Had to leave and go get the stuff and then come back. Patches the wall and then leaves, saying his dad will be back on Saturday to paint it.
Saturday comes and I wait all day AGAIN. And the man never shows. Doesn’t call. And the son took the wall chunk, yes from my wall, that could be used as a paint match. So now I can’t even paint match.
It is now Thursday October 2nd. I text him this morning and ask when he’s going to paint the wall. He reads text and doesn’t respond. How professional!
This all happened since September 15th and my issue is still not resolved. My mother is now involved and has been in contact with corporate but overall, I have had an AWFUL experience with the delivery team.

First I asked the lady at the register to call someone to the tool section because I needed a fan and a battery, I heard she did. We waited about 20 mins and nobody showed up. Then I went to tell her we were still waiting and she told me a lady was coming. I then went to another register and asked another associate to call someone again. She told me to go back and wait again, I waited another 20 mins and yet nobody ever showed up. I got tired and walked off. Lowes in Tifton has seriously the worst customer service ever.
