King of Swings provides commercial and residential playsets, swing sets, playground equipment, obstacle courses, and related services to Greater Atlanta Metro Area, Central Georgia, and North Georgia.
We were excited after visiting the showroom and felt confident moving forward. The only condition was the installation date. We confirmed it twice—once before paying the deposit and again after.
Two weeks later, we were told the date was no longer available because larger jobs that came in after our order took priority. Our scheduled and confirmed appointment, along with our deposit, meant nothing.
This is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. If honoring commitments isn’t a priority, customers deserve to know before investing time and money.

We love our playground from king of swings! It is well made and sturdy. The customer service is top notched . We had two little things that needed to be repaired after two years and they came out right away!

What a fantastic experience! Paid a visit to the showroom in Peachtree Corners. Met with Chris and got a solid and confident understanding of options and alternatives. Got a quote the next day. Requested and made a few modifications with Paul. Installation scheduled and completed by Blake and team. All done in 8 calendar days. Perfectly professional. King of Swings is Top Shelf! Delighted with the Service and Quality! Recommend highly.

At first, we really enjoyed this playset, but in less than 6 years, we had several pieces of the pressure treated wood rot, and the bolts had rusted, meaning that the company went cheap and did not use outdoor-use galvanized bolts.
My receipt stated that the treated lumber had a 20-year warranty, and the website advertised a $110 site visit for repairs. When I contacted King of Swings to have the rotten pieces replaced, and requested a site visit, I was quoted $120 for a site visit and the replacement of just the ladder. After questioning the higher than advertised site visit quote, requesting to have ALL rotted lumber replaced, and the request to have galvanized bolts used (or I offered to furnish my own bolts), the owner refused to serve me (see attached photo of email).
Despite the poor customer service and the disappointment of the rotten wood (it happens, wood rots), my kids have thoroughly enjoyed the play set. However, I would recommend going to a different company for your play set needs.

King of Swings is a great place to purchase a swing set for the children. They use quality products and have a well educated friendly staff.
What kind of wood do you use and why do recommend it?
All playsets are made of pressure-treated (ACQ) southern yellow pine. This is the type of pressure-treated pine approved by both the Environmental Protection Agency and the Consumer Products Safety Commission for public playground use. In addition, we plane, route, sand, cut, drill, and inspect every board for maximum safety and aesthetics. When compared to redwood or cedar, pressure treated yellow pine is stronger and lasts longer.
Is any advance ground leveling or site preparation necessary prior to the installation of a playset?
None whatsoever.
Is there a warranty on King of Swings playsets?
Of course! Our warranties are as follows:
• Residential Treated Wood Products: 15-year warranty
• Commercial Treated Wood Products: 10-year warranty
• Everything Else: 2-year warranty
Is a site visit by King of Swings personnel to evaluate space and/or terrain levelness necessary or recommended prior to the installation of a playset?
A site inspection is usually not needed for most playset installations because the King of Swings in-grounding technique and proprietary modular playset designs can be adapted to most any slope or ground condition. We do however recommend a site inspection if any of the following conditions exist in the immediate proximity of the desired installation location:
1) Extreme slope
2) Objects that may impede installation or prevent safe play (e.g. large stones, trees, thorny shrubs, retaining walls, fences etc.)
Can I start with a smaller playset and add on to it later?
Yes. most King of Swings playground sets are designed to be modular. Starting with a basic set does not limit future options. Almost all playsets we offer can be added to or enlarged at any time in the future.
Even though King of Swings prices are already super competitive, are there ever any special sales or discounts offered?
King of Swings strives to offer our customers the best price at all times. However, we do offer sales at certain times of the year.
Although there is almost an infinite amount of playset configurations, can you provide us with a general range of prices?
80% of our classic designs fall within a range of $1,990 to $2,700, although there are some playsets both above and below that range..
Are King of Swings playsets available in kit form for do-it-yourselfers?
Yes, all playsets can be picked up or delivered to you in kit form. When a playset is ordered in kit form to be installed by the customer:
• All wood is pre-cut and pre-drilled.
• Many components are pre-assembled (we try to minimize loose wood).
• Basic instructions step-by-step directions are provided.
Can playground accessories be purchased separately?
Yes, from swings and slides to steering wheels and telescopes (and everything in between) can be purchased separately. But keep in mind that all King of Swings playsets come standard with a full complement of playground accessories.
What type of wood does King of Swings use for their playsets and why?
King of Swings uses pressure-treated (ACQ) southern yellow pine, which is approved by the EPA and Consumer Products Safety Commission for public playgrounds. It is stronger and longer lasting than redwood or cedar.
Is ground leveling or site preparation needed before installing a King of Swings playset?
No advance ground leveling or site preparation is necessary prior to installation of a playset.
