My wife's broke about a year ago. Mine did about 2 weeks ago. I called the store about a repair and was set up with a virtual visit 2 days later. No Problem. The repair man saw the issue with the chair and diagnosed the problem in about 2 minutes (Which tells me he had seen it a LOT). He told me that we would have to order a part to fix the chair and when the part came in, call them and they would come out and fix it. Another week went by waiting for the part. It was delivered so I called for repair as soon as I got the part. I was told it would take OVER THREE MORE WEEKS for someone to get out to fix it! I am handicapped. This is LITERALLY the only chair we have in the house that I can sit in for more than 30 minutes! And because I am having to sit in it "diagonally" I'm having issues with my back...And this is going to be going on for three more weeks! I have had La-Z-Boy chairs in the past that last me 15 years with no problems at all. Now, it's FIVE weeks and HUNDREDS of dollars to repair a 4 year old chair! La-Z-Boy USED to make good furniture and provide good customer service. Now, apparently, those days are over.
