Boy, oh boy. Be extremely wary of this location’s local management team. We placed a custom order that required one of their technicians to come to our home to take precise measurements. Despite that, the local salesperson still ordered the wrong size. What makes this inexcusable is that there were only two possible sizes to choose from.
On the second attempt, they reordered the exact same wrong size again.
This item was urgently needed for a family member who was in hospice care. After four failed attempts and nearly nine months of ongoing issues, Lowe’s corporate had to step in to fix what the local store could not. Throughout this entire period, the store manager never contacted us, despite repeated efforts on our part.
As a final insult, the item arrived two months after our loved one passed away, which was the very reason the purchase was made in the first place.
Lowe’s corporate did the right thing. This location did not. For any future Lowe’s purchases, drive to another store or drive down the block to Home Depot instead.

Lowe's vs home depot for the owner of a single home or a very small construction business. Lowes pro credit card gives 5% cash back on EVERY purchase, EVERY time. Thus the discount is more reliable than at HD. Stock wise the Home Depot / Lowe's debate is extremely similar to the Costco / Sam's Club both have some things better than the other, which item is better at which store is always up for a debate. So, I am not going there. In a perfect world I would have business accounts at both to rake advantage of each one's unique benefits. I generally do not spend enough in construction supply so I defer to Lowe's simply because 5% every time.... their military discount and benefits are also better than HD. but as I am a common American am not a vet. 2 of my kids are, but that does not give me a military discount, nor should it. I never volunteered to be in Harms way to protect my fellow citizens rights. They did, so they deserve some respect. Ps I do have both the Costco and sams memberships and credit cards and due to travel and gas benefits usually get much more than the membership price as a cash refund every year....
