  I liked this storage facility well enough when I started using it 4 months ago, however, they just increased my bill by $80 A MONTH with no warning (jumped from $105 to $182 a month). I've only had the unit since this past November. Increasing the rate after only 4 months is crazy to me. When I asked why the increase happened, the customer support rep simply told me that their contracts are month to month and they can increase the rate at any time. Not impressed.

  I was searching for an affordable 10x15 climate-controlled storage unit that would fit my budget. I visited a few locations, but nothing felt right or reasonably priced—until I made my last stop at Extra Space Storage on Canton Road. From the moment I walked in, Tracy greeted me with the warmest smile and such a welcoming attitude. She was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive to my needs. She truly took the time to help me find exactly what I was looking for — the perfect size at the right price. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Tracy, thank you for your kindness and professionalism. You truly made my day!

  Reserving the space over the phone was a breeze and price reasonable. Inspection of the entire facility far exceeded what I expected given past experiences at other storage facilities. Tracy, the property management, was extremely helpful and confirmed this was the right place for our storage needs.

  If you value your time and NOT having your belongings covered in rat feces or chewed up, SEEK ANOTHER STORAGE UNIT. My father was a customer for 26 years. Paid them more than $40,000 over that time. Recently, my dad had a stroke and open heart surgery. I was trying to remove some things from his plate, and emptying out this storage unit was one of them. When I told management at this location that I wanted to empty out the unit and simply bring in a dumpster for 8 hours, that was apparently an unacceptable request. You can see in the picture, that there is ample space, but they just wanted to be difficult (and rude). I asked again, very nicely and politely, and was told "You are being nasty to me. I will not help you anymore"... Since then I had the locks cut, and paid for new ones. The next day, the manager cut off the brand new locks (management miscommunication error) and charged me a second time ... I noticed that it says on their website that they treat for rodents, etc., but every square inch of this place is covered in rat feces. By the way, Rebecca was awesome! Thanks for your help and treating me like a person!! Keep an eye out below for a half-hearted reply that washes their hands of the matter, minimizes my actual experience and the incompetency of management by saying something like "We're sorry you felt that way", and gives them the feeling that their paycheck is justified!! ☺️
