If I could give a zero rating I would. I had a Lowes credit card and have done business with them for years on multiple large orders. My husband placed a large order #443682763 Invoice #95324. It was a large lumber order and they called and said it was ready for pick up as an online order and we used two gift cards as payments and the rest on Lowes charge card. As the man is loading up our truck an employee comes runnin gout and said, stop loading there payments have been declined. We wer eshocked because if payments declined then how was it processed in the beginning. Well we were livid and the employee had already loaded everything into our truck. The other employee that came out saying payment declined stood by the truck as to say you are not leaving without paying. How offensive. We both walked back into the store and ask for managment however, this intolerable employee which should have been fired, was next to me walking inside the store and continued saying payment declined in front of customers. I truly should have punched her in her face. This happened in May 18th of 2022 at 1:32 PM at 3:23 PM order cancelled when we came to pick up. Management came up and he had no clue why order cancelled. He kept saying we would have to call home office. Why call home office we are here at your store. My concern at this point is how do I get my money back on my gift cards. He said they should be on it now and I contacted both gift cards and they were not. So we were leaving and saying we wer contacting home office business better bureau and stealing money off of our gift cards. As we were walking out to tell employee to unload truck an employee Sometha said is there any way I can help you. We explained what had happened. Keep in mind the employee is still outside by the truck. She looked oat our original order and said I will help you. The whole problem was that Lowes did not know how to apply the Gift cards we were using so it looked like we had not made full payment. She said do you still want order and we did, she rerang order applied applicable gift cards correctly but the price was a little higher. We got our stuff and vowed never to do business with Lowes again. Managment horrible. Also beware and check your Lowes Credit Card statement for accuracy on your purchases or you could find problem areas of overcharging.

I’ve had repeated issues at this Lowe’s location (3190 Technology Dr, Macon, GA). I purchased three 5-gallon paint buckets and was given the wrong paint—twice. When I returned the same day, I was told I couldn’t get a refund, even though the mistake was theirs, and the replacement was still incorrect.
I was also told their paint specialist was not there, and no one else knew how to properly handle or mix paint orders. No solution was provided.
In addition, a carpet order was cut too short, and although the system shows 975 feet remaining, no one has been able to locate it.
These ongoing errors, poor communication, and lack of resolution have caused major delays and inconvenience. This location clearly needs better staff training, inventory management, and customer service.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase.
