However, if you sign up for a promotional rate you better prepay that amount for the number of months you need it - or they will more than double your rates within a year. Ours went from $95/month to $235 a month. However, on their website they were still offering the promotional rate to new customers. They are counting on the fact that most people will put it on autopay and not pay attention to how much they are being billed. And as a current customer, they will not give you the promotional rate. However, you can sign up for a new unit for that rate and move. But they know that most people won't go to that effort. It's a lousy way of doing business - and too bad - because otherwise the storage units are pretty good and the building is clean.
