We went to this store location because of the bad service in Macon store. We spent a long time picking out carpet for our house. Original employee helping us was very helpful. We paid the $35.00 fee for someone to come out and measure before we could make final selections. We told them we would take up old carpet and move all furniture to keep cost down. Our final total was a little over $2400.00. We were all set to go when I noticed the invoice had a charge for moving the furniture. Went to customer service desk and ask that the credit be applied back to our account. Was told by carpet employee who was rude as he had been moved out of that department due to complaints but was just filling in that day, that the entire order would have to be cancelled and redone. That involved a lot of time. I ask the customer service employee to go back and recheck if this is correct. I watched her because we have been waiting for her to come back over 15 minutes, and she was walking through the store talking to other cashiers before coming back. At that time we ask to speak to managment. An African American manager came out and was very nice and we explained our problem. He himself could not understand why the refund could not be applied without doing entire order over. He went and talked to Carpet Department head and said that would mess up entire order. I dont know why since it only involved removing furniture we were doing . It had nothing to do with the carpet or installation. By now we have been with this manger and customer service over an hour. My husband was upset and said just cancel entire order which the employee did. At this point, I told the manager that I felt the $35.00 measurement which is non-refundable should come back to us because of their mess up of the order. He told the customer service person to take out names and he would look into it.I said you are the manager and can make that decision now. Its not our fault. I wrote our information down and as I walked out the customer service person threw our names in the trash can. A horror movie in the making. So we did not get reimbursed the $35.00 for their mistake. Stay away. It appears that Lowes needs managers that know what they are doing and can make decisions on their own.

The Kathleen Georgia location has terrible, terrible service. Picked up a grill today, brought it home, and the side burner caught fire and burnt my hand. Because of their AI phone system, it’s extremely difficult to get through to anyone. When you do, they don’t give a flip about what’s going on and provide answers to your questions that make no sense or are not related to what you ask. Their employees are not well trained, and are not motivated to properly assist their customers. I think I’ll try Home Depot from now on!

I never leave reviews but this location specifically has the worst customer service possible. I waited for over 30 minutes for someone to open the craftsman case. Then when someone finally had the code to open the case and retrieve the tools I got to the front counter and the woman there wouldn’t honor the sale price that was posted on the case. She insisted it’s online only and would not help at all. I had to get a manager to help. This isn’t the first poor customer service experience either at this location. Management needs to be more effective.

I placed an order today at 11:37 AM and arrived at 5:11 PM to pick it up, only to find that it hadn’t even been started. After checking with the pickup desk three separate times, I ended up waiting over an hour before finally receiving my order at 6:07 PM. What was most disappointing wasn’t just the delay, but the complete lack of acknowledgment—no apology, no explanation, and no effort to make things right. As customers who spend thousands of dollars at Lowe’s each year, this experience was extremely frustrating and far below expectations. With 55 years of combined military service between my husband and me, we value professionalism, accountability, and respect—qualities that were clearly missing today. Unfortunately, this experience has caused us to lose confidence in Lowe’s, and we will be taking our business elsewhere moving forward
