- LJLynn JordanMar 17, 20261.0I was at Hobby Lobby today to exchange a singer sewing machine. The cashier told me to go get another singer. When I returned to the cashier she said the do not accept returns on any singer or cricket products! Customer must go to manufacturer. I asked why I was not told of this policy before purchasing?. The cashier said it is on the receipt. It is. But my issue is hobby lobby doesn't tell you you cannot return the item until after you pay for it. The catch! Hobby Lobby should have a sign on the singer and cricket products telling the customer they do not accept returns on these items. Give the customer a choice to buy or not. Hobby Lobby knows the above product is no good. Why sell it? After I called for a manager, CO manager John waddled up. A bit snippy. Refusing the exchange. I asked him to show me on the policy on the receipt. He did. But that policy excludes the hand held singer. Which I had. I told the manager and the 2 cashier's all I wanted was one that worked. After their attitude I told the cashier to give me a refund. She said I can't give that much back. $28.88. I said the manager right here can override that. I got the money back. Hobby lobby needs to tell customers they don't do returns on singer and cricket before you buy!
