    They marked my $100+ item as "picked up" after I left empty-handed. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of accountability and the disorganized state of the pickup process at this location. I purchased a large item (over $100) for in-store pickup. When I arrived, I was told the item was "in the back." I waited for 25 minutes, and nobody ever brought the item out. Because I had other commitments, I informed the front desk associates that I had to leave. I specifically asked if leaving would cause any issues with my order, and I was told "no." The next day, I received an email stating that my item had been picked up. I do not have the item. I never touched the item. Yet, according to Lowe’s system, the transaction is complete. When I contacted customer service, I was told the store associates "cannot locate" the item and are now reviewing camera footage to figure out what happened to it. It is deeply concerning that a store can mark an item as "picked up" when the customer is not even on the premises. This is either a major clerical error or a serious security lapse. Now, I am stuck waiting on a manager to "advise on next steps" while Lowe's holds onto my money for a product I don't have. Advice to others: Do not use the pickup service for large items here. If they can't find it immediately, stay there until they cancel the order or hand it to you, otherwise, you might end up in "customer service limbo" like I am. I am currently waiting for a resolution from Corporate Executive Relations. I will update this review based on how they choose to handle this "missing" $100+ item.

    I ordered a craftsman tool workbench for nextday delivery during black friday sale. I received a kobalt workbench of a lesser price. Lowes wanted me to bring back to store instead of picking it up. I found out they hired 3rd party labor delivery and I was brought someone else's order. the delivery driver took a photo of my mailbox as the delivery validation photo. I recieved no compensation, apology, and no accountability.
