I’ve shopped at this Lowe’s multiple times a week for years and have never had an experience as frustrating and ridiculous as I did today. Until now, my only real complaint was the vendors who constantly approach customers trying to sell gutters.
Today, I went in specifically to purchase an outdoor outlet that was clearly listed online for $31.98. When it rang up in store, the price was $39.98. After questioning the discrepancy, the employee at self-checkout had to ask another associate, who then consulted what appeared to be a manager.
Instead of providing actual customer service, I was told Lowe’s would not honor its own online price in store, but that I could place the order online for store pickup. Even more absurd, I was told I couldn’t simply purchase it online while standing there and take the item with me. Instead, I would have to wait for the “Fulfillment Team” to process the order before returning to pick it up, despite already physically holding the product in the store.
That is beyond ridiculous and I literally threw my hands up and walked out.
To make matters worse, the manager who was asked for assistance avoided the situation completely, shook her head no, and hurried away rather than stepping in to help.
This policy is inconvenient, wastes customers’ time, and creates frustration where there shouldn’t be any. It also puts employees in an awkward position of customer frustration, as both employee agreed it was ridiculous. If online pricing is available, customers physically shopping in the store should not be forced into a pointless fulfillment process just to receive that price. This item was clearly NOT marked “online only” and only stated that the sale ends May 13.
I’ve spent a lot of money at this Lowe’s over the years on everything from tools and paint to frequent garden center purchases, which makes this one of the most illogical and disappointing customer service experiences I’ve had there.

My wife and I went to the East Ellijay Georgia location yesterday 3-29-26. Customer service was the worst I've ever dealt with in that store, we were checking out at self checkout, they were 5 associates standing around I needed help with looking up an item All I got was disrespect and attitude. Definitely will not be going back. Start going to Home Depot

This review does not reflect the pro desk members . But after being a Lowes pro for 26 years. This store has given me reason to not use them anymore . Starting with: Trying to see why my lumber. Never arrived. Then trying to track it down. This should be easy . But not here. First you have to be told yeah your order was never loaded.at the end of the day waiting.... then having the Saturday morning front manager treat me like im doing somthing wrong. She was nasty. Should not be in any customer service position. Then hanging up on me . I dont care how your day is going. I dont care if you like me. I have a business to run and I expect you to be professional. Not like a crybaby child. This Lowes lacks . Lacks a lot. Of professionalism .

Also with other members giving my child a hard time and being nasty to my wife. Trisha and God forbid you try and use cash at the wrong broken machine . Your talked to like your the biggest idiot around .
.26 years of constant business is having me rethink who I use here. Might move my business to Appalachian.
