  I have lived in South Dekalb for over 25 years. Speed Queen laundromat is a pleasant place to do laundry! This place is ALWAYS CLEAN,no riff-raf is going on.The services offered are fair and reasonable.Angela is AWESOME.AMAZING,ALWAYS GOING BEYOND TO HELPYOU!!! She is always smiling and greets you with “ Hello,welcome to Speed Queen!!!” She smiles a lot , this makes you feel like you are family. You get the sense of being in a safe non judgmental environment. She represents the Speed Queen company with dignity and respect!!! I am proud to be a patron of this facility.in fact I tell everyone l know whether you have a washer or dryer or not ,go by Speed Queen on Candler Rd ,you WILL be glad you did ! Blessings ANGELA!!!!

  This was my first time at Speed Queen, and I love it! Definitely my go to laundromat now. The machines are varied in sizes and work efficiently, the card loading machine was easy to use, there are plenty of snacks and supplies if you need it while you’re there. But I have to say what stood out to me the most about my experience was the store manager, Angela. She was so sweet and down to earth. I accidentally left my card in the machine at one point and I see her searching for whose it might be. She taught me how to save my info on there so if it got lost again, I wouldn’t lose that money, and it made me see the kind of community of people I was amongst because it would have been really easy for someone to snag it, but it got back to me safely. 10/10!

  Miss Angela is so sweet and kind. She told me about the double, which is something they only do once a year where they give you credit for however much you put in, so if you put $25 on your card you get $25 credit. Thank you Miss Angela. The staff are wonderful they’re all always very helpful and kind, it’s always clean in there, plenty of places to sit while your laundry runs, free-wifi, vending machines if you want a snack, tables to fold your clothes, the washer and dryers are a good price, and I’m pretty sure there’s charging ports. I love speed queen. Thank you.

  I dropped off my scrubs for wash-and-fold service and paid over $90 for the service. Unfortunately, after picking up my laundry, I discovered that my debit/credit card — which had been left inside one of my scrub pockets — was used without my authorization. A charge of $69 was taken from my card after my clothes were in the possession of this business. I did not give permission for my card to be used, and the only time the card was out of my control was while my laundry was being handled here. This is extremely concerning and raises serious questions about trust, security, and employee conduct. I am currently addressing this with my bank and expect management to take this matter seriously. I would strongly caution anyone using wash-and-fold or drop-off services to double-check their pockets and be mindful of personal items before leaving their laundry.
